What they said

I had an excellent stay of almost a week on the black pearl and can't recommend it highly enough. I took my open water course there and discovered some great diving spots. I also rented a scooter to discover the island.

The owners are very responsive and friendly, and the hotel is well laid out and pleasant, with a swimming pool and rooftop terrace.

My friend and I had a great stay at the inn! The place is beautiful and very welcoming, a large kitchen with everything you need to cook and very comfortable rooms! A rooftop for relaxing and socializing completes the picture!

We were there to dive and the owner Michael was always available to help us with accommodation, diving and organization! The dive guides are really competent!

I would definitely recommend La Perle Noire! We loved our stay and have decided to extend it for a further 3 nights.

The great atmosphere, the team working there (Dom, Mick, Gaby and Sparrow the cat), the memorable activities and this island paradise made our trip a success.
Don't miss: a day of diving (special mention to instructor Jesus) and a snorkeling tour at El Cielo!

We had a great stay! Laurent was very responsive in helping us organize our stay, and Michael welcomed us warmly and recommended some great spots around the island.

The place is very pleasant, the rooms are clean and the wifi is excellent and works everywhere. You can also rent scooters and bicycles.

We had some great dives with Etienne, who was a great teacher and always in a good mood. Thanks to them for this great experience, and we hope to come back.

A great place with great people! Feels like home.

Accommodation: nothing to say, clean rooms, good bedding, I was pleasantly surprised. There's a pool, kitchenette, board games and bike and scooter rental. However, it's a 20-minute walk to the center of Cozumel.

Diving level: it was great! Étienne is a great, funny teacher who listens and makes you feel safe. The people who run this hostel are relaxed, attentive and the team is well organized.
