Location

North-central Cozumel, about 20 minutes by car or scooter from San Miguel.

Opening hours

Open daily from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
(Last entry recommended around 2:30 p.m. to take full advantage of the site)

Rates

• Adults: approx. $200 MXN
  Children (aged 4-12): reduced rate
  Free for toddlers

Tip: Bring cash, as some entrances do not accept cards.

What to do on site

• Explore the ancient temples: dedicated to Ixchel, goddess of fertility and the moon
• Walking the trails:  lined with jungle and iguanas
• Photographing : structures such as Ka'na Nahthe "big house
• Discover : the history of the site thanks to explanatory panels (in Spanish and English)
• Guided tour:  to better understand the spiritual role of San Gervasio

Where to eat?

• Small snack : near the entrance with cold drinks, chips, coconuts and ice cream
• If not, bring your own picnic to eat on site.

Pirate Tips

• Provides mosquito repellent, especially in the wet season
• Wear closed-toe shoes (trails are uneven)
• Best time to visit: early morning to avoid the heat and crowds
• Respect the ruins: don't climb on them, even if some seem accessible.
